Optimising system flow
Transforming business through interconnectedness and protective capacity.
On Track Business
Being in control of isolated entities, islands or functions will never give you optimized flow or the outcome you want. In order to change this you need to see differently. You need to understand that the creative zone in a business is not found in a specific element or function, but in seeing the whole.

As a second phase, we know that most leaders do not see because of their fears, uncertainties and risk of failing. Therefore they want more control. In order to overcome this they need to locally optimize their world of efficiencies believing that it will give them the outcome they want. This is the biggest fallacy on the planet: Being in control of isolated entities, islands or functions will never give you optimized flow or the outcome you want. In order to change this you need to see differently. You need to understand that the creative zone in a business is not found in a specific element or function, but in seeing the whole.
The most creative field lies between different entities. It is in the overlap between entities that you will discover genius and a collective or sharing intelligence. You therefore need to structure and manage processes across boundaries where it is the relationship between different entities that matter. A world of connectives and collaboration where there is always enough protective capacity to sustain flow and continuous movement. In this world the water always keeps on flowing, so does the dialogue and meaning, so the discovery. This then is the zone of optimized flow in the Avanza journey.
In transforming the Business we will guide you to do consistently better than your current performance and expectations and for this we will learn from the natural world where nature has been successful in doing so for millions of years.
This is a facilitated business intervention towards optimized flow in a time of complexity and often chaos that will impact the bottom-line of your business. The outcome is the re-construction in how we optimize flow in the business.
Many consultants instruct businesses how to manage its processes, but we will partner with you differently in order to create sustainable business improvement by actual process participation and people facilitation. This facilitation manifests itself in the dynamics of an integrated 'war room' where all key stakeholders participate with enthusiasm and dedication on the immediate performance of the business as a whole.
Because every business is unique, the results we achieve are through process and not by preconceived design. We create measureable results by reconstructing business flow through transformed individuals.
"Thanks to you for a great experience. It really did meet my expectation. The feedback I got from the team was that this was the best session they have ever attended. I think the experience allows one to have time for some introspection. It becomes a 'soul' experience." Mxolisi Mgojo, Executive General Manager, Coal, EXXARO
What to expect
This normally starts with a two day facilitated workshop on the key aspects of theory of constraints as presented by Arrie van Niekerk. In this session the key focus areas will get identified for the journey forward. The design that follows is an interactive process of what goes into the war room and then the 'games' begin to get everyone in the business aligned behind a common vision and purpose. It is all about focus and discipline with high levels of commitment from all supportive structures. In the mean time the people and leader behaviours will also get serious attention.
From one-on-one coaching or mentoring to a 'wilderness experience' closer to home that will make it more afordable. This wilderness experience is a two day experience where the most fundamental reasons why businesses fail is exposed in a playful adventurous journey of discovery, dialogue and some serious reframing that takes place. In my journey so far almost 10 000 middle and senior management leader-managers did go through this experience and many would claim it to be the number one defining moment in changing their business or personal lives forever. The detail of this whole process needs to be well mapped and integrated in order to keep the production flow we want and then sustain it.
"Firstly I must thank you for an experience of a life time. This were the first ever were I have heard that unconditional love and gratitude will change business for the best and with that attitude change I could in the last two days see a difference in the way people approached me just because I try to apply those two principals in my life. I was just taken in and consumed by this absolute great experience. Thank you." Michael Bester, Section Engineer, Union Mine
